live music: Live & Free

Silky Roads have crafted a mesmerising musical style - a unique blend of laid-back vibes and irresistible energy. Born from a shared love of the 70s, the groove-centric band blends the old and the new to produce a funky slow-burn style and infectious rhythm that captivates both the heart and the feet.

Drawing inspiration from acclaimed acts like Parcels, Daft Punk and Arctic Monkeys, Silky offers a seamless blend of rock, disco, and electronic music. Described as "a breath of fresh air" to the Sydney Music Scene, their funky beats, shimmering synths, and contagious hooks are sure to get the crowd moving and grooving.

Formed in 2019, the band consists of Guy Richards on guitar/vocals, Mitch Dunn on guitar/keys, Luke Sandberg on drums, and Nick White on bass. Since experiencing immediate success with their first single, the boys have been committed to reinventing and refining their sound. Their upcoming singles promise to charm audiences and elevate their already exciting musical journey.
