Hatchling taking the stage at Buddy’s Bar to play her first set in what feels like forever, celebrating her first single 'Russian Roulette' from her new debut album. Please join hatchling and her fabulous band as we serenade you with some songs you may already know and some new hidden gems. 

“Russian Roulette is a song I wrote classically in lockdown when I didn’t have much of a storyline going on for myself. I conjured up a fictional narrative instead, drawing some inspiration from my teenage years of dabbling in rebellion. I think a lot of people may relate to the sentiment of feeling a little lost, whether it was when we were younger or even where we are now in life"

Hatchling blends the raw emotion of folk, the cathartic energy of blues rock and the distinct lyrical flair of western Americana. The music is emotionally charged, often stemming from a confessional yet confrontational alter ego. While Hatchling forms deeply personal narratives in her songwriting, the concepts become relatable through clever lyricism, juxtaposing strength and vulnerability, capturing her consistent journey of self exploration and growth as a being.
